A large field has been cleared near the river and lined with swaying bamboo trees at the water's edge. Nestled between the bamboos are quaint, wooden, Taino-styled (click on Taino to get a little info about the Tainos) gazebos overlooking the rapids and pools. Families and groups can use the area for a barbecue, games, sightseeing or swimming in the river. The Picnic area is perfect for a variety of organized activities by any kind of group visiting the valley.
