  Architectural Design

The architecture at White River Valley takes the guest to bygone days of Jamaica's colourful past. The buildings in our beautiful Village of Flowers are reminiscent of Georgian Architecture, which once featured prominently in Jamaica's history. The Village was actually designed to resemble a rural Jamaican township from the buildings housing our offices, restaurant and gift shop to the coconut cart parked in the driveway.

Elsewhere on this property can be found a small scattering of houses built before this old estate became an adventure park. Some have been rebuilt over their original nog construction. Elsewhere, can be found an unoccupied Pimento (Allspice) House and the ruins of an old Plantation home. The Old Spanish Bridge on the river built by Jamaica's original European settlers is also unique due to the fact that molasses (a sugar cane extract) was used in its construction.

The architecture of White River Valley takes you back to simpler days and adventurous times when the Jamaican setting was the backdrop to war, colonization and the evolution of a new nation.
