Adventures - Horseback Riding
The Pineapple Riding Stable is located within the heart of our Village of Flowers where beautifully landscaped gardens adorn the White River. This is the start of your horse riding tour where you mount up on the likes of T-Grey, Moonstruck and Missile Crisis…to name a few of our treasured horses in the Valley.
Your path follows the course of the river while the sound of streaming water creates background music for your listening pleasure. Then it’s up and over the hill into the depths of the Cascade Rain Forest. Here the sun plays hide and seek through the canopy of thick tropical foliage while your horse calmly walks his familiar route.
As you make your full circle through the hills you will visit the Orange Grove, the Coconut Walk and pass by the Lychee Field. Perhaps you’ll stop for quick refreshments, Jamaican style as you look out at the surrounding countryside from the Old Pimento (Allspice) House.
After a long sigh it’s back down the hill to the Village of Flowers where you can browse Jamaica’s products in our gift shop, Island In The Sun, or listen to Caribbean music while sipping a cold beverage at the Parrot Bar.
